L. S. Gordon Store Restoration

Great things are going on at the northern end of the Village of Starksboro that will result in great things for music statewide.

Restoration began over the summer of 2006 for the future home of the Big Heavy World music archives.   The building, where Olive and Hervey Hanson once lived, is located on the west side of Route 116, adjacent to Ruth Brown (now Hank Bissell's) house to the south.   When done, the building will provide climate controlled storage for archives of musical recordings from 1949 to the present.
