Members present: Emma Lou Craig, Sarah Adams, Robert Stokes, Cynthia Kling, Gerry Heffernan, Olive Phillips, John Burbank, Kathleen Bushey and Ruth Beecher

On a hot summer's evening, we enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner with a total of 33 folks until 6:45. Sarah gave a brief overview of SHS before telling some of Jerusalem's Schoolhouse history. Then conversation was opened up to include recollections of attending this school, and other one room schools in the area. We were enthralled with stories from many folks about school in days gone by. In addition to stories, folks shared photographs, report cards, and even a DVD of local history.

NEXT MEETING: Thursday, September 28th, 7pm at the Starksboro Town Hall on Vt Rte 116 in Starksboro Village. Topic -- Saving Vermont's Civil War Flags: Past and Present, with Donald Wickman.
